SAPinsider has evolved far beyond its origins as an events and publishing company. Today, it operates as a global media platform serving one of the largest independent communities of SAP customers, partners, and experts. As the business expands into new formats—including magazines, digital content, podcasts, executive interviews, research programs, and a growing portfolio of events—the brand plays a critical role in connecting an increasingly diverse ecosystem of products and experiences.

The Challenge
Create a visual identity capable of unifying a growing portfolio of offerings while maintaining clarity, consistency, and credibility. The challenge isn't simply one of scale—it is one of positioning.
SAPinsider occupies a unique place within the enterprise technology landscape. While independent from SAP, it exists entirely within the SAP ecosystem and serves the community that surrounds it. The brand needs to feel familiar to SAP audiences, benefiting from the trust and recognition associated with the world's leading enterprise software company, while maintaining enough distinction to establish its own voice and authority.
At the same time, the existing identity needed to evolve to support new products, new channels, and new audiences. What began as an events-focused organization now encompasses editorial publishing, research, video, podcasts, thought leadership, and digital experiences—all requiring a cohesive framework capable of growing with the business.

The Solution
The answer is a comprehensive modernization of the SAPinsider brand.
As Design Lead, I oversee the evolution of the visual identity, having redesigned the SAPinsider logo and established a scalable design system that extends across editorial, events, research, podcasts, video, and digital experiences. The visual language is intentionally structured and modular, creating subtle ties to the broader SAP ecosystem while establishing a distinctive identity of its own.
The system is designed to grow alongside the business. As SAPinsider expands its event portfolio, launches a premium print magazine, develops podcast programming, and introduces new interview and thought leadership series, the identity evolves without losing coherence. Every touchpoint becomes part of a unified brand experience.

The Impact
SAPinsider now operates as a cohesive media ecosystem rather than a collection of individual products. The visual system scales across print, digital, video, and live experiences, creating a consistent presence for one of the most recognized independent communities in the SAP space.
By balancing familiarity with independence, the brand strengthens SAPinsider's position as a trusted voice within the SAP ecosystem while providing the flexibility to support continued growth across new formats, channels, and audiences.
